StarlineSupport

Support usually runs in a system that has never heard of the sales process that won the customer. StarlineSupport attaches a ticket to the CRM company, so the history does not restart the day somebody buys.

The queue

Tickets are ordered urgent-first then oldest-first — the order somebody actually works a queue in, rather than newest-first, which buries whoever has been waiting longest. Four statuses: open, waiting on customer, resolved and closed.

The conversation

Every note on a ticket, in order, with internal notes marked as internal. The opening description is the first message rather than a separate field, so there is one shape and no special case at the top of the timeline.

What is not built

Inbound email. Nothing watches a mailbox and turns messages into tickets, and adding to a conversation here does not email anybody. Both are said on the screen where it matters, because a support tool that implies it is catching email it is not is how a customer's message gets lost.
