A booking type is one kind of meeting: its name, its length, the days and hours you take it. Free slots are computed rather than stored, so changing the rule changes what is offered immediately, with nothing to regenerate.
The public booking page
Real bookable times as a list of choices rather than a calendar widget, which is faster on a phone and works without JavaScript. Every time is stated in UTC, because converting to a guessed local zone for display while storing the raw value is how a meeting gets attended an hour late.
What is not built, and why it matters here
It does not read your Google or Outlook calendar. It knows about bookings made through it and nothing else, so it can offer a slot you are already busy in — which is why both the workspace and the public page say so plainly. A "Synced" badge over a system that reads no external calendar would cost somebody a missed meeting, not just credibility.
